This week at X is nearing the end of my internship. Last week I tweaked some identity pieces for Manchac Lake and began working on a new logo for a transportation company owned by the same person who owns Capital City Produce. The company name is Double F Logistics and their idea of a logo definitely includes two F's. So, I got to sketching and tried to think of every none-typical way to represent two letter F's that can work well for a trucking company. Tiffany sent the client options and they got back to us rather quickly. So today I worked on imposing their logo on a truck. It will be pretty cool to see something I designed actually on a moving truck. (It's not the most amazing thing ever and I certainly had restrictions, but it's always a step up). I also helped TIffanie work on a presentation for X to give to Central Louisiana Technical Community College who chose X to go to round two for our RFP response.

I tried applying the logo on a 18-wheeler for the option of having decals and a wrap.

Overall my experience has been really great. I've learned a lot about the branding/design industry and working as part of a team. I have also decided to take the full-time job offer that will begin in January, when Tiffanie leaves for 2 months. My duration plans are not completely set but I'll at least be extending my time here for another semester (even after graduation, I'll count my time by semesters).
